It is February already - I can belive it. Where the January go?

How is your 2016 so far? Do you have a vein to drawing and painting?

I have a lot of ideas and desire but so little time!
This year is extremely busy at work. I participate in some cool projects as illustrator, but there is so little time for personal projects!
Some work in progress and speed painting practices you can find on my artblog, facebook or instagram.
I hope I post here new watercolor portrait here soon!
Have a great February!

I'm so glad to have found your gallery! It's so gorgeous and inspiring. I especially love your traditional artwork. I am somewhat afraid of trying to work with watercolors, but after seeing your art, I feel like it's about time I learn to do so. I'll now take my time to admire your artwork, haha. Keep up the great work!

Your comment is very motivating :D
You should definitely try watercolors- I literally love them, they aren't easy media, but if you learn essentials you can do magic with them!

True, they certainly aren't easy to use, much less master but I'll practice. And thank YOU for the motivation (and inspiration)

I love your art so much! The colors and movement are so lovely. I found you on Facebook and didn't know you were on DA!

If you don't mind me asking, what kind of paper do you typically use when you do watercolor work?
Vasylissa Featured By Owner Dec 22, 2015
I use watercolour papers Fabriano type - but I prefer 300g/m2 than 200g/m2. I think colours blend much better on 300g/m2
But my favorite one so far is  Fabriano 270 with different tehxture than two above. It is more like marble and colors blend together great in the same time I can add a lot of details also.

I saw your watercolors and I think you do great job. Keep painting!
Thanks for all good words!
